What drives me, is to make a better workplace, where people can grow and make an impact. To this end, I combine my strength in talent development, people management and organisational leadership with my deep knowledge of R&D.After a 15 year scientific career in Academia I switched to Biotech/Pharma in 2014. I much enjoy contributing to the construction of organisations in transition, where I can rely on my skills in leadership, communication, change management and stakeholder engagement. Bringing experts - scientists, academics, (healthcare) professionals - together and collaborating in cross-functional teams towards shared goals ignites my motivation. Recruiting talents and seeing them grow in their roles and responsibilities brings me a great sense of fulfilment. Throughout my career I have always invested in the development of people (students, interns, staff and managers), either as a teacher, coach, mentor or line manager. I strongly believe in the principles of Learning and Development. Life-long learning results in happy people who perform better, which is essential for any organisation wishing to make more impact!
