The result is imagery that sparks the imagination and captivates an audience.Trained as an architect with 20 years of experience in the industry, Michael's illustrations and animations breathe life into design whether the source is a napkin sketch or construction documents. Since launching Born Illustration in 2007, he has explored and perfected techniques to evoke emotional connections that eclipse photorealism. He has worked with artists and filmmakers as well as architects, developers, and fundraisers.Michael is an adjunct professor at the Boston Architectural College and teaches Digital Artistic Illustration, a program he designed to help students quickly create convincing renderings from their own designs. He also teaches and chairs the SketchUp Bootcamp at the Boston Society of Architects, structured to help architects and designers rapidly get up to speed and comfortable using SketchUp, a popular design and modeling tool.
