o Provide covert protection coverage for principals, guests, employees and others in a way that is professional, courteous, and in compliance with policy and procedures.o Travel in support of protective operations advances, both domestically and internationally.o Conduct site surveys and document those surveys for dissemination to team members.o Participate in recurring protective operations training, to include firearms training, medical training and other related tasks.o Safeguard individuals and properties from all forms of security and safety hazards.o Conduct daily covert protection duties as assigned and directed.

FIREFIGHTER II• Swiftwater and Flood Rescue Operations: River and flood rescue Skills, Strategy and Tactics involving Rescue Swimming, Rope Rigging Systems and Boat handling.• Operates heavy extrication equipment such as air bags, hydraulically powered cutters andspreaders, pneumatic cutters and special saws.• Responds to hazardous materials incidents at an awareness level and responds to othercalls for assistance as requested by the public.• Force entry for search and engine operations.• Perform any immediate rescues.• Search and Rescue.FIREFIGHTER I• Performs firefighting activities that include laying hose, performing fire combat, containment and extinguishment tasks. • Also perform emergency aid activities, including administering first aid and providing other assistance as needed. • Participate in salvage operations such as throwing salvage covers, sweeping water, and removing debris. • Respond to fire alarms and extinguish fires as a member of a team under the supervision of an officer.

• Work unilaterally or with foreign military forces. Duties frequently required regional orientation, including foreign language proficiency and in-country experience. Additional duties included participation in waterborne, jungle, desert, mountain and winter operations. • Conduct and participate in air operations. Identify and prepare drop and landing zones. Assist in the development of unconventional warfare and guerilla warfare. • Plan and participate in sabotage, subversion, escape and evasion plans. Plan close air support strikes. Participate in air operations, survival, land navigation and combat skills.• Covert interpersonal intelligence gathering and covert local populace integration.• Route/threat analysis, personnel escort and protection, motorcade/convoy operations, detecting surveillance and IED recognition and response.• Foreign intelligence service methods of operations; advanced sketching techniques; image projection; advanced special operations security skills and techniques employed in rural and urban environments; airborne operations.• As a Special Forces Medical Sergeant, duties primarily involve participation as a paramedic on a special operations team, or detachment, involving unconventional warfare, foreign internal defense, strike operations, strategic reconnaissance and counterterrorism. • Establishment of field and unconventional warfare medical facilities to support operations and ensure medical preparedness of the team. • Trained in advanced cardiac life support, radiology, trauma management, anesthesia, central materials supply, surgery, laboratory examination, veterinary procedures, anatomy, pharmacology, and records/reports.

Provide emergency medical treatment to injured and/or impaired persons at contracted events and venues, provide first response urgent care, and transportation of the sick or injured to appropriate medical facilities.
