Apart from more than fifteen years as a consultant and owner of Rutilus ecokonsult AB, I have gained a broad wealth of experience from a variety of rolls and assignments. I have been working in many branches of industry and tourism has been a part of my life the last 30 years. I have been guiding in different ways and I have also been working with the development and coaching of ecotourism solutions.The last years I have been focused on the public sector and how it can be a part of our sustainable future, as I believe it has an important role to play. Food and energy are segments that can be an option especially for smaller communities. The most important environmental issues as I see it are climate change and loss of biodiversity. My education, B.A. in environmental science, together with my life experience give me broad perspectives. You could say I know a lot of "languages" which help me in communicating with many different experts within their chosen fields.My goal with my professional life is to "make a difference". I want to make my living by helping people and business to think and operate in a more sustainable way. E.g. developing small scale tourism companies and help them develop a responsible and sustainable business is for me one way of helping people be able to live where they want, it also includes production of fossil free energy and clean (environmentally sustainable) food sources .
