Ben Bostic is an experienced public relations professional specializing in health policy communications. He is a Vice President at M Booth Health, a full service strategic consulting firm with expertise in issue-oriented health and medical communications. He currently focuses on ending the U.S. HIV epidemic with the latest treatment and prevention strategies.Ben has led communications campaigns and initiatives on a variety of important issues at the intersection of policy and health care, including advocating for increased federal funding for government agencies like HHS and CDC and for research in individual disease areas such as cancer, HIV, and liver disease. Other issues he has worked on include supporting the Affordable Care Act, championing better access to sexual and reproductive health, reducing disparities in HIV and liver disease treatment access in communities of color, supporting adequate Medicare/Medicaid funding, addressing the high cost of prescription drugs in the U.S., and supporting patient engagement and activism within the oncology, liver disease, and HIV therapeutic areas.Previously, Ben served as the Research Manager at Camino Public Relations, where he was part of the team that helped develop and lead Planned Parenthood Federation of America’s response to a deceptive viral video attack released by anti-choice activists in an unsuccessful effort to eliminate federal funding for the group.
