Tee Bosustow is a documentary filmmaker, the son of Steve Bosustow, one of the founders of UPA Pictures. Tee also worked with his dad, establishing an animation studio in Hong Kong in the 60’s. Most of Tee's professional work has focussed on documentary and informational films, videos, now DVDs; producing, directing, writing, shooting, and editing.In 2003, Tee began interviewing UPA animation veterans, and animation experts, for a feature length documentary on UPA Pictures, “The Boing heard Round the World”, which is looking towards a theatrical release in a year from now. In 2007, Tee helped Amid Amidi put together the collector’s book, “Inside UPA”, with rare photos of UPA artists at work. So, in 2006, with nearly a hundred interviews taped, Tee began hosting a podcast series on animation, “Toon In to the World of Animation”, with 46 episodes in the series at this writing. We are pretty certain that we’ll have nearly two hundred by the by the time we finish the feature documentary.
