• Main activities performed:
• Coordination and support in the implementation of the Azores 360 Project, responsible forestablishing a Security Operations Center (SOC) and other activities within the scope of the project;
• Coordination of the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT);
• Preparation of baseline studies for defining measures related to the security ofcommunications and information systems for the regional public administration, as well as their execution;
• Design, promotion, and support in the development and procurement of IT security systemsand equipment for the regional public administration;
• Fostering contacts with other IT services and security organizations of the regional and central public administration to exchange publications, share and consolidate information,know-how, and experiences;

• Management and monitoring of cybersecurity systems (EDR, SOAR, Firewall), including the detection of suspicious activities, indicators of compromise, threat analysis, risks, and vulnerabilities in the infrastructures.
• Cybersecurity incident response, including mitigation and resolution actions in coordination with various involved entities;
• Communication and collaboration with various IT services and organizations within the Regional Government of the Azores, raising awareness and sharing knowledge and procedures related to cybersecurity;
• Administration of Windows and Linux systems as well as other IT infrastructures (traffic load balancing and management, hyper-converged virtualization solution, backup solution, federated authentication solution.
• Management, scaling, and implementation of data networks.
