Bothina Osama is a science editor and regional coordinator for SciDev.Net, managing the Middle East & North Africa region and its Arabic edition. A founding member of the Arab Science Journalists Association, Bothina is a trainer, mentor, and speaker who advocates for science journalism skills development. She co-authored the Practical Guide for the Arab Science Journalists book and has organized and judged numerous science journalism prizes across the Arab region, and Africa.She is also a co-founder of the Science Journalism Forum (SJF) and the Arab Forum for Science Media and Communication.
