A 28 year old in North Louisiana figuring out what it looks like to execute vision.Industrial engineering graduate of Louisiana Tech University (Nov. 2018). My main passion is helping people and communities as a whole develop their creative confidence. We need more people who are comfortable with trying out their ideas with the ability to develop from failure. I'm tackling this challenge through multiple pathways, firstly through my company UpAhead. Working with small businesses and nonprofits in the region to create effective websites that engage with their customers. I also support local nonprofits with my time and skills. I also have worked to create student organizations on the campus of Louisiana Tech that encourage students to use their creativity and energy to make the campus and community better while also developing their communication skills and creative confidence (using the Design Thinking model as a guide). In addition I have championed and laid a foundation for the University Innovation Fellows program to impact the campus through students and the overall educational environment.I am dedicated to north and central Louisiana for the time being (roughly four years) but look to expand my impact in the future attending graduate school and seeing what other communities my skill set can impact.
