Secured a short term contract with the UN’s branch responsible for delivering verdicts against those responsible for acts of genocide, working within the property management and general services department and contributing to inventory, facilities, work flow, and asset management efforts.-Meticulously tracked and recorded all data related to inventory and utilization into the Inventory Management system.- Ensured compliance with UN protocols in preparing documentation for UN assets that have been sold; these included gate passes and disposal certificates.- Drew on strong organizational abilities to arrange assets within the warehouse, sorting assets into lots according to their intended use, such as destruction, commercial sale, and donation. Additionally maintained records of damages to assets set for disposal.- Double checked the information presented in the electronic data processing database by verifying data against physical assets within the EDP containers. Also entered the details of assets in EDP containers into the property disposal database.- Conducted board of survey (BOS) in collaboration with asset holders and property control staff, inspecting equipment to very that it was ready for disposal, signing off and handing it over to the disposal unit.- Leveraged communication and interpersonal strengths to liaise with five asset holders across the Communication, Electronic Data Processing, Building Management, Supply, and Transport teams with respect to writing items off.-Harnessed decision making capabilities to write items off due to a number of causes, including normal wear and tear, damage, obsolescence, destruction, and scrap. Subsequently coordinated the disposal of assets.- Reduced the processing time for verifying data accuracy by 50% by improving the database functionality, using Microsoft Excel.
