As a Dutch law qualified lawyer with over nine years of experience in domestic and international financing transactions, I bring a unique perspective and skill set to the table. My practice is primarily focused on asset based lending and cross-border secured financing. In these areas, my distinctive international experience enables me to create a bridge between jurisdictions, translate Dutch legal challenges to make them understandable for international parties, and translate structures to make them work within a Dutch legal framework. This allows me to provide customized and effective legal solutions for clients operating in a global marketplace. But what truly sets me apart is my passion for promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace. While much of my work has focused on LGBTQIA+ diversity, I am also deeply involved in initiatives that promote ethnic and cultural diversity, gender diversity, and other dimensions of diversity.From the Netherlands to London to New York, I have been a vocal advocate for creating a more accepting and supportive work environment for all. I believe that true progress can only be achieved by fostering a culture of respect, inclusivity, and collaboration. And I am committed to making that vision a reality, both in my work as a lawyer and in my personal life.
