Raised the organizational efficiency and development levels by identifying and filling competence gaps, by defining and implementing project roles and responsibilities, and by establishing a department structure with corresponding career paths. Achieved passing of conformance and certification testing, interfaced with production regarding test requirements, and helped to solve several problems related to product design and production testing.• Led and managed the project for development of the latest generation Main-Remote RBS Outdoor and Indoor Main Units, including the involved external manufacturers. Led the high level mechanical and cooling design. For the outdoor unit, managed to come very close to the, considered impossible to comply with, Japanese customer volume requirement of 40 liters. • Led and performed quick studies, researching new technologies and building practices. Shared the responsibility for the RBS radio requirements allocation to the radio sub-systems within the RBS.• Invited to participate in a development project in Kista, Sweden, with the goal to develop a new, low-cost type of 3G RBS, based on the Main-Remote concept. Responsible for the Radio System Architecture of this RBS. The project was stopped during 2001, due to Ericsson’s bad financial situation at that time.
