Developed the SOFSA Enterprise Decision Support System, a MSSQL 2008 R2 solution to reduce data stovepipes and provide cross-functional, self-service BI in a logistics landscape. EDSS is a multi-tiered metrics platform designed to cater to a variety of information workers - from dock workers to operations managers to program management. The system enabled enterprise-wide analytics on a $2 billion inventory as well as manufacturing, quality, and accounting data.Primarily performed SSIS ETL design/dev, dimensional data modeling, and requirements analysis with SSAS and Performance Point/Report Builder development. PL/SQL development support. Attended Kimball University DW/BI Lifecycle training in order to champion standard, proven DW methodologies to the team.

Responsible for utilizing the entire Operations and Support team to identify, determine root cause, and perform post-mortem actions for all Service Level Agreement infractions. Leverages in house MSSQL solution, GCSS Metrics Data Mart, to support program management decisions by reporting incident trends and capacity forecasts.Decreased routine ETL processing times by over 85% - from 3+ days to <8 hours - through index and data type analysis.
