Part of my current role is to assist with the general DBA support and development for the CMG Data Warehouse which includes designing and developing methods for transferring 5 Terabytes of data from an accumulated batch source database onto the Production Database. I developed methods for the identification of utilised tablespaces and the dynamic generation of scripts and validation methods to perform the transfer using transportable tablespaces. I also perform daily support, backups/restores, checks, resolving live and development issues, upgrading and construction of future associated releases.
