Life Cycle Services (LCS) was acquired by SIMS, an internationally listed metal recycling organisation in March 2008. Part of the attraction of LCS was the client list that Jonathan had built up as well as the associated technology the company had. Jonathan was asked to lead the sales effort of what was the existing Sims IT recycling business and associated staff, the existing LCS sales team as well as the accounts associated with another organisation.

LCS delivered as a service the recycling of IT equipment of larger organisations. This was done in partnership with Remploy which is a £250 million government organisation responsible for generating employment for disabled people in the UK. His primary role was driving the sales strategy and recruiting to deliver the Business plan. Jonathan created and drove forward sales strategies to win accounts such Orange, Diageo, Scottish & Southern Energy, HP and The Inland Revenue.LCS was acquired by Sims Metal Management in March 2008 and Jonathan was transferred under Tupe arrangements as Sales Director of the newly formed Sims Life Cycle Services.
