My career in the infrastructure sector started as a civil engineer and I have had over a decade of involvement in diverse projects across the whole lifecycle. These experiences have given me a passion for removing inefficiencies and using data-backed information to enable businesses to make informed decisions and drive meaningful change. Beyond the conventional realms of strategy, commercials and finance, I'm fueled by a curiosity that drives me to explore the "what ifs" and unravel the web of levers that shape the outcomes of implementing any changes (be that strategic or otherwise). I'm thankful my career thus far has seen me wearing multiple hats - from strategy development to negotiating contracts to hands-on project delivery. Each of these roles has shaped my approach to solving problems. I've recently been part of founding Data-Mash-Up (DMU), a company that provides analysis for a range of industries and permits the full financial, economic, social and environmental spectrum of a project to be properly weighed. DMU has been set up with a simple internal philosophy focused on our people and behaviours.
