About Bo Pollett Wernick

My name is Bo Pollett Wernick and it is my dream to develop the future of technology. My passion is in the field of Mechanical, Software, and Manufacturing Engineering. I enjoy a fast-paced R&D environment and working in a team atmosphere. I am currently developing new products for start-up companies and innovation departments of large businesses. I am a Design Engineer and Business Developer who specializes in composite structures and autonomous systems. I work with products that span many industries from aerospace and automotive through prosthesis and consumer goods. I began preparing my education for entrance into the engineering world with a minor in computer science at Santa Rosa Community College in Northern California. I put myself through school by developing automated property search engine software which I sold to real estate agencies for their websites. This was followed by a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University where I was involved in several professional organizations on campus where I held positions such as President of the Senior Class Council, Director of External Affairs for the Student Government Association, President of the Inventors Club, Test Grader for the Engineering Department’s Jets and Rockets Course and co-founder of a cosmetic carbon-fiber business, Forward Swept Enterprises (www.ForwardSwept.com).Specialties: Engineering, software programming, computer drafting, tooling design, CNC milling and lathing, 3D (three-Dimensional) computer design, project management, market analysis, technical representative, product development
