As a PTA in North Dakota, I was feeling my abilities were limited and I was ready to take the next step in my professional life. After working as a physical therapist assistant for 13 years, I decided to return to school to expand my knowledge and skills by acquiring my DPT. May of 2015 I will graduate with a DPT degree from the University of North Dakota. This journey in my life has been challenging and rewarding. The skills and knowledge that I have attained over the years will assist in molding my therapy and personal skills positively. It can not be unsaid, that this whole process would not have happened without the love and support from my family. My husband and three children, as well as my siblings have been very supportive throughout this whole process. Ultimately I love helping people, mostly those who are dealing with movement disorders. Once I graduate I will be able to provide better quality of care for all individuals.
Listed skills include Myofascial Release, Therapists, Pediatrics, Home Care, and 9 others.
