I chose a career in operations because of my love of solving problems. I enjoy taking novel, complex situations and working closely with a team of people to create a solution. As a graduate from the School of Kinesiology at the University of Michigan, I have been fortunate to combine my love of fitness with my passion for logistics during my career at Peloton. I am currently working as an Operations Manager in Franklin Park, Illinois, which includes the management of a 53,000 square foot warehouse, the expansion of our operations into both last mile fulfillment and regional distribution, and leading a team of over 70 people. Previous to my current position, I was an Operations Supervisor, where I opened Peloton's Metropolitan Detroit location and owned the inventory management process and a safety training program for my peers. I completed a Field Specialist role prior to that in the greater Chicago area, completing over 900 in-home deliveries and installations, each of which was an opportunity for me to directly interact with the customer to educate them about the product. I believe the experience of working my way up from an on the ground role executing deliveries to now managing Peloton's largest global location has given me expertise in each level of the business, understanding how all of the pieces ladder up to create a smooth end to end process. I have also had the great experience of working on Peloton's Culture Committee, which aims to create a cohesive and unified workplace culture across the nation. In the future, I plan to focus my career on people management, as I enjoy developing talent in people and helping them to reach their professional potential. I am also interested in the increasing relevance of logistics as today's consumers are more and more often buying from home and getting their purchases delivered. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, hiking, and weightlifting.
