About Ryan Boyce

Currently working as a DevOps/Cloud/Platform Engineer for Bankrate. My focus is enabling developers to work as fast as possible by creating self-service tooling, platforms, and libraries. Working primarily with Terraform, AWS, Docker, Golang, Python, Node.js, and CircleCI, I've worked to shift Bankrate from from a ticket-based infrastructure provisioning system, to developer-autonomous self-service. I've worked to move our tooling from Jenkins to CircleCI, from provisioning AWS in the console to Terraform, and from EC2 to ECS/Fargate. Tooling is written primarily in Golang, but also Python and Node.js, infrastructure is written in Terraform with testing using Terratest, and CircleCI, DataDog, NewRelic, and Rollbar for our CI/CD, Monitoring, and Alerting. Am a big supporter of remote work as well as building and sustaining remote culture.
