I started in the oil & gas industry as a Lease Operator at age nineteen after graduating early from high school and then going to ENMU and receiving an Associates Degree in Petroleum Technology. Then at the age of twenty three I became a field foreman where I learned more about the oilfield through being involved in a wells life from the staking of the well ( meeting ranchers and state and federal officials along with construction companies to make roads and locations ) to drilling wild cat wells through eastern NM and west Texas ( rigging up drilling rig, setting surface and intermediate casing, logging and drill stem tests and then setting production casing ) then onto completion of the wells ( logging , perforating, acidizing, fracking, and putting well on production after building facilities ) I then moved more into management of large developing areas where I helped plan out out drilling and completion operations. Also played a key role as a Superintendent in hiring and developing large field teams for these areas we developed.I also took pride in what I helped develop as we took these large fields and brought the LOE down by improving on everything we could including bringing well failure rates down to below industry standards. I would like to work at a place where I could be utilized to achieve the goals set forth by the company and hopefully do better than the goals as I help develop a team.
