I am a graduate of the University of Calgary with a major in Kinesiology.I am an active person who enjoys participating in sports and staying active, which comes with the inevitable injuries. As I have had to complete my own rehabilitation it has helped me to learn about the body and how it works, creating a fascination and drive to continue learning about these amazing machines. During my program I had the opportunity to volunteer in a rehabilitation program for people with disabilities, helping them to complete the exercises given them by the therapist. This combined with a placement at a physiotherapy office has furthered my desire to help improve the quality of life for others as mine has been improved. My experience and schooling have cultivated active listening and problem-solving skills. Ultimately I would love to work in the sporting community but am looking to have as many experiences in this field as possible so I am able to further my education and help people with the highest quality of service.
