Great design is fun to make.

I started designing when I was 12 years old, working for (online) clients. Ever since, I’m looking for cool people to make awesome things with.My roles? Art direction, any direction. Familiar with most disciplines of the trade, I know and help my clients find a way around: business strategy, concept development, graphic design (on- and offline), copywriting, communication/marketing and film/photo production.

Utrecht’s concept development agency focused on making everyday life easier. Most recent concepts include Splitt, Party Starters and VoiceXpress.My roles included art direction and execution on all concepts. Execution included branding (logo, POS material, presentation, social content and animation) and visual design (website, app, UX/UI). I also helped out with the creation of (new) concepts, strategy, copywriting and production.

An extremely skilled agency located in Noordwijk aan Zee - hence the name.Their motto “fun work makes great work” is proven day in, day out.Besides implementing and developing design knowledge and skills, Aan Zee taught me to see past the final product and into the eyes of the user, teaching me service design. Using techniques such as sprint, scrum and co-creation, I learned what art direction means and how to love it.

The Hague’s publishing company specialised in making yearbooks for high school graduates. And yes, they made mine, too.From meeting with clients to designing covers/insides and implementing graduates’ text into existing templates (DTP). This was a much appreciated look into a completely different branch of the design industry, where I became super savvy and awfully quick at Adobe InDesign.

In love with the athletic side of design, Maradona Creative Agency showed me what moves the sports industry.Exploring this new world of design, it was enrichening to work here. From designing a Nike Hiking Trail Folder to designing and developing an entire ice-skating outfit - oh yes, that happened - I enhanced my design frame of reference and learned how to make miles that matter.

Offff delivers designs which are distilled to their essence and a joy to interact with, while remaining aesthetically pleasing. Trying to find my way as a creative under employment, Offff.studio showed me the beauty of working in a team. Here I caught on the essence of a good design: form follows function. By starting at ‘why’ instead of ‘how’, Offf.studio ignited my interest in art direction - without me knowing it.
