Westchester Ballet Company’s Nutcracker is a big, bold, full-length production of this holiday classic. No regional production in the New York metropolitan area can compare in scale and affordability. Thousands of attendees return year after year, making Westchester Ballet Company’s Nutcracker a cornerstone of the holiday season.A cast of 110 dancers, 82 of which are youth dancers from 20 towns and villages across Westchester and beyond, rehearse for 3 months each fall to prepare for performances held in the third week of December at Lehman Center for the Performing Arts in the Bronx. As Lighting Designer I interface with the Artistic Team, PM, TD and IA crew to execute a lovely looking performance.

Oversee all technical elements including but not limited to presenter engagement, vendor alighnment, site selection, and worldwide logistics management of a massive theatrical production featuring 30+ performers on a 55m x 10m stage, complete with full stage silhouette video projections, lighting, and audio. Full workshop at MASS MOCA in April 2018 followed by world debut at the TATE in London (July 2018). Performance in Duisburg Germany as part of the Ruhr Festival (August 2018). Macy’s and the 4th of July Fireworks in NYC celebrated it's 40th anniversary in 2016. The celebration saluted American spirit through a dynamic score of patriotic favorites performed by the acclaimed United States Air Force Band and of course the largest Independence Day fireworks display in the nation.Prior to the 25-minute display that featured dynamic pyro effects fired from five barges on New York City’s East River, Macy's puts on a party that only Macy's employees and their family/ friends are invited to.
