Their business continuity services kept you working at all times with 18 secure, state-of-the-art, 24/7 support centres gave you peace of mind backed by expert consultants and technicians.Blue Light Support had access to over 1300 Nationwide Engineers including 500+ with BC, SC and SC+ security clearance, 350+ Desk-side, 400 Network & Data, 150 Voice & Telecom and 160 Retail Support.My ResponsibilitiesMy role is to support and manage the entire IT life-cycle from Technical Support to Account management. • Designed complete end-to-end infrastructure solutions to meet client requirements.• Responsible for the IT lifecycle management and operations.• Worked with Consultancy partners and system integrators to leverage client success. • Documented solution proposals at the required level of detail.• Closed numerous sales for network upgrades and new purchases.• Supported multi-user environments in varying business sectors.• Maintained physical and virtual servers running a mixture of Windows and Linux operating systems.• Implemented fault reporting systems to track and prioritise customer support tickets.• Documented all issues following standard ITIL Incident and Problem management processes.• Monitored network resources 24/7 to pre-empt or respond to outages remotely or onsite.• Managed all development, deployment, and change management activities.• Maintaining documentation of changes regarding users, procedures and systems.• Infrastructure data cabling and Cat 5e / Cat 6 certification.
