My work includes designing work-life solutions, such as rbKids, an award-winning workplace child care program at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers in Burnaby, BC.With over 30 years in ECE, I have dedicated myself to early learning and to supporting the development and operation of programs that are authentic Montessori, Montessori-inspired or who offer a blend of philosophical approaches. I have been qualified as an Early Childhood Educator in five Canadian provinces and have supported numerous child care programs, early learning projects, and community initiatives across Canada. I am also committed to Indigenous-led child care programs, focusing on culturally safe, trauma-informed early learning environments. I have authored child care needs assessments for communities and employers and worked with a BC-based college to develop foundational ECE training programs.Currently, I am focused on projects to design and launch new child care facilities in multiple British Columbia communities, many of which will feature Montessori-inspired and culturally inclusive elements, set to open over the next few years. I also own and operate Summerside Montessori Children's Studio in Summerside, Prince Edward Island.
