After graduating from university, I lived and worked in Japan for 5 years as an English language teacher. Upon returning to NZ, my 7 years at Coffee Supreme provided a role where I was a senior account manager and trainer as well as being directly involved in sales and events. Moving to Mojo Coffee as a Project Manager allowed me the opportunity to put this knowledge to use in identifying and seeing through to completion, cafes for this chain specialty coffee brand. In this role I created proposals, managed budgets and ensured timely delivery of sites whilst closely working with the operational team and landlords.My most recent role at Bluebells Cakery as their GM was an exciting change from the coffee industry to the high end cake business. It was a pleasure to work for people I have known since it started 10 years ago, and it was a wonderful opportunity to further strengthen my leadership and HR skills whilst understanding the business of large scale production.
