I am the founder and Creative Director of ChicNiCity, a women’s ready-to-wear clothing label based in Massachusetts. My passion for fashion is deeply rooted in my dual identity, which inspires me to fuse ethnic-inspired colors and prints with contemporary design elements. The result is a collection of premium, wearable, and versatile clothing that resonates with women everywhere. With over 15 years of experience in the apparel industry, I also serve as an Apparel Development and Production Consultant. As the owner of Behind the Seams Apparel, I offer comprehensive services to clients, guiding them through apparel development and mass production—from initial concept to final product for retail. My career began as a lawyer, but my true passion led me to fashion. Throughout my journey, I have collaborated with numerous international fashion brands, creating garments that have been sold in renowned retail stores such as Moda Operandi and My Theresa in the US, as well as in stores across the UK, Italy, South Africa, and Nigeria.I divide my time between Lagos and Massachusetts, where I live with my husband and two children.
