Grundstenen til Schiller & Co. A/S blev lagt for over 40 år siden, da Leif Schiller etablerede sig som selvstændig fotograf med en drøm om at skabe et samlingssted for erfarne fotografer samt unge up-coming talenter. Drømmen realiseredes, da Leif Schiller sammen med partneren Poul Kofod etablerede Schiller & Co. A/S, der i dag har til huse i et oprindeligt garnspinderi i Nannasgade på Nørrebro i København. Snart blev virksomheden også repræsenteret i New York på hjørnet af Fifth Avenue og 28th Street, og i 1983 etablerede de to ligeledes reklamefilmselskabet Locomotion.I 2001 blev forretningsområdet udvidet til også at omfatte andre kreative virksomheder end professionelle fotografer og i 2008 blev selve huset udvidet med yderligere 828 m2 til de idag 4.000 m2.Schiller & Co. A/S er således i dag et multikreativt vækstcenter, der huser flere end 40 virksomheder indenfor den kreative branche med over 120 mennesker. I huset finder du alt fra fotografer, journalister, PR-folk, filmfolk, grafiske designere og reklamebureauer over arkitekter og modelbureau til fotolaboratorium, digital billedbehandling og spil-udviklere for bare at nævne nogle.
