• Kept Silk Browser up to date with the latest version of Chromium, ensuring functional parity and keeping up to date with the latest security patches and crash fixes• Monitored the Chromium master branch for approximately 1500 commits each week, pulling in all changes and merging them with the Silk master branch• Worked with over 25 million lines of code across nearly the entire codebase of the Chromium Open-Source Project, handling build, test failures, and bugs introduced by upstream changes or discrepancies between Chromium and Silk code• Investigated and implemented fixes for high impact crashes and bugs affecting up to 9.7 million customers• Designed a framework for automating our manual tests using Python and UI Automator and onboarded it onto our testing infrastructure, saving 12 hours of manual testing per release• Built new tooling to automate the uplevel process that continuously pulls and merges in new changes, reducing the average gap between Silk and Chromium from 3000 commits to 1000 commits
