In my role as Change Agent I operated on the intersection between business and IT. I represented my department towards IT to work together with them on interesting improvement initiatives. Additionally as Change agents we worked together on standardization among departments to facilitate scalability for the entire organization. My main focus was to find improvement possibilities and motivate others to come with improvements to me and the implementation of these improvements afterwards. Emphasis was heavily on Salesforce.

As project manager I have been responsible for a wide range of projects. For example executing a proof of concept on a new way of servicing the customers or supporting VodafoneZiggo in the switch of more than two million customers from analogue to digital signal. Most challenging project in this period was the implementation of Salesforce at my department together with a team of specialists from across the company. Focus in every project was on the optimalization of the service towards the customer and improving the customer experience for them.

In this role I managed a team of six people which was responsible for weekly scheduling of 500 technicians on installation and repair shifts for VodafoneZiggo and providing a forecast on the availability for the upcoming months. To optimize the conditions for my team I mapped the processes, identified improvements and together with the team implemented these improvements. This role gave me a taste on how it is to manage a team.

My time at Guidion began with an internship which focused on external communication. After this I stayed on as a project employee to work on various projects. At the time I started my master’s programme I became a technical service desk agent, supporting Guidions technicians in their work for VodafoneZiggo. During this time I helped a lot of new colleagues with their onboarding, mapped processes and attributed to setting up training courses.

Gedurende mijn studietijd ben ik, naast het hierboven genoemde bestuursjaar, actief geweest bij Faculteitsvereniging EOS. Door de jaren heen heb ik deel uitgemaakt van verschillende commissies in verscheidende rollen. Als lid van de Kas Controle Commissie heb ik een bijdrage geleverd aan het opstellen en aanscherpen van verschillende documenten rondom de selectieprocedures van alle controlerende en adviserende commissies. Binnen EOS Lustrum was mijn hoofdtaak het opstellen van een promotieplan en het monitoren van de uitvoering daarvan ten behoeve van de lustrumweek. In de rol van voorzitter van EOS Congres zette ik de lijnen uit voor de voorbereiding van het evenement en in deze commissie heb ik mijn eerste ervaringen met leidinggeven opgedaan.

Board year at the study association of the faculty Social Sciences at the VU Amsterdam, an association with at the time approximately 1.900 paying members and an annual budget of €180.00,-. As treasurer I was responsible for all financial and legal matters. Additional I work with all the treasures of the different committees on their annual budgets and provided them with multiple training courses. This period taught me to take responsibility and to work together with a team really intensely.
