Advised Georgia State University – a leading urban Tier 1 global research institution with $1B+ in annual revenues, $2.6B+ in economic impact, and the #3 Most Innovative University in the U.S. – on complex strategic, corporate, operational, and legal matters, including:Georgia State University Stadium/Summerhill Redevelopment. Led the University’s redevelopment of the former MLB Stadium, Turner Field, and oversee the $400MM mixed-use redevelopment of site for athletic facilities, commercial/retail use, private student housing, and multi-family housing. Serve on the Design Control Committee governing the redevelopment of the site. Led the team securing the largest corporate naming rights for a football stadium outside of the Power 5.College Athletics. National speaker on collegiate athletics and primary counsel to the University’s Department of Athletics on all Division I intercollegiate athletic matters.Entrepreneurship. Conceptualized and advise the Main Street Entrepreneurship Seed Fund, which funds and supports seed and startup companies led by diverse founders and leadership teams.Community Engagement: Oversee the University’s civic/community relationships throughout Metro Atlanta.CMII. Opened and assist in the operation of the Creative Media Industries Institute, a $26MM+ center advancing advanced technology media and arts entrepreneurship and innovation in the film/tv, virtual and augmented reality, game development, and music industries.eSports. Oversee the Georgia State University Varsity eSports program, the 6th best eSports program in the U.S. and 2-time SMITE National Champions.Rialto Center for the Arts. Co-Chaired the Search Committee for its Executive Director and serve on its Strategic Planning Committee.Service. Co-Chair the University’s Policy Advisory Group and serve on the University’s Entrepreneurship Advisory Group; Rhodes/Marshall/Mitchell Scholarship Selection Committee; and the Presidential Scholarship Interview Committee.
