As a Managing Director of Deloitte Tax, LLP, I am passionate about serving my clients and empowering them with tax and economic information to assist with their business and personal objectives. In addition to my local office and regional roles, I love working with clients on a National level to find solutions and assist with tax technical matters. The joy comes from walking in my client's shoes and viewing tax matters through their needs. 

My technical focus is on individual tax planning, trusts, private equity funds and investment partnerships. In addition to serving clients in this role, I also lead our business and private aircraft consulting for Deloitte Tax national, and have specialized expertise in such areas as winery operations, numismatic accountings, private equity fund structures, and film production companies. My core specialties benefit high net worth individuals and their respective family offices and/or closely-held investment entities. 

I am currently the Individual Income Tax (IIT) National Competency Leader (NCL) and consult nationally on matters related to private aviation structuring & taxation, individual income taxation, including technical matters related to AMT, multi-state tax planning, charitable planning, generational succession matters, divorce issues, California-specific trust taxation and individual/trust net operating losses. Furthermore, I advise wealthy individuals and their family offices in all tax and accounting matters.Additional technical accomplishments and passions: hiking Machu Picchu and climbing Kilimanjaro. No I'm not doing Everest! Continuing to travel the world and learning about different cultures and food.
