I am passionate about material culture and sustainability in the built environment as they pertain to the natural world and its effects on human behavior and environmental ethics and aesthetics. After organizing a ten-week LEED Green Associate exam prep class, I achieved my LEED Green Associate certification in November 2017. In connection with my passion for sustainability, I was appointed the president of the United States Green Building Council student chapter at Oklahoma State University. During the summer and winter of 2018, I interned with Corgan, a commercial design firm located in Dallas, Tx. The assigned responsibilities helped strengthen my integrative design strategies and also enhanced my teamwork skills. I am currently studying to take the WELL AP exam.
