Senior Manager Of Seminar, Partnerships And Programs
Manager of Seminar, Partnerships and Programs (June 2014-July 2017)As the lead conference manager, I had primary responsibility for all areas of logistical management for NSPRA's annual Seminar. The Seminar grew in attendance and in 2016 saw its largest attendance in history with over 1,000 people. I managed the relationship with the venue, the housing block, food and beverage, audio/visual, and all outside vendors. I also established and grew relationships with sponsors and exhibitors who helped support the Seminar. Post Seminar I reviewed all bills for accuracy and discussed/resolved discrepancies with vendors. As Manager of Partnerships, I oversaw the details of annual and ongoing partnerships to ensure NSPRA fulfilled its obligations and maximized relationships. I drafted and reviewed partnership agreements for new and ongoing collaborations. I also talked with organizations to identify new partnerships opportunities for NSPRA.As Manager of Programs, I oversaw our yearly webinar training program, organizing all of our speakers, ensured content was developed in a timely manner and served as the primary contact for all of the webinar's stakeholders. I led the project to select a new platform for our webinars, implemented the system, wrote the instruction materials for speakers and attendees, and produced each webinar.

In my position as Event Planner at CBC I was responsible for planning both educational conferences and faith-formation programs for this religious non-profit, in addition to numerous board and committee meetings each year. These events ranged in size from 15-225 attendees.
Event Manager
My primary responsibility at eHealth Initiative was as lead event planner for two annual conferences. These conferences brought together about 250 attendees from around the US and about a dozen exhibit vendors. As lead planner, I was responsible for all meeting logistics, including management of third-party vendors. I handled contract negotiations with third-party vendors for items such as A/V, photography, exhibits and hotel. I also planned, developed and distributed marketing materials for eHealth Initiative events. These conferences were a success – 96% of attendees said they would return the next year.In addition to these conferences, I handled all logistics for monthly webinars, quarterly Board of Director meetings, annual retreats, and special receptions. I served as in-house point of contact for all attendees, speakers, sponsors and outside vendors. At the close of these events I completed all bill reconciliation, budget tracking, communications and event evaluations. In addition to my event planning responsibilities I was also responsible for some financial activities for the non-profit.
