I was the IT professional responsible for the San Diego and Tijuana offices of Entravision Communications Corporation, which produces and broadcasts content for Univision (KBNT 17), TeleMundo (XHAS 33), UniMas/TeleFutura (KDTF 51), MundoFOX (XHDTV 49.1) and MyTV13 (XDTV).

Anchorage, Alaska Area

I spent 4+ years as an IT/GIS Specialist in the Anchorage, Alaska office of PND Engineers, Inc. Most of my workload consisted of IT system administration and support for that office (~65 employees), as well as the other company offices in Seattle (~40), Juneau (~20) and Denver (2). My duties included the administration of the Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange 2003/2007 migration and management, Accounting Information System migration and management, numerous network licensed applications/servers/client software, multiple MSSQL Servers & database applications, intra/interoffice file backup/recovery and remote access/VPN setup, administration and maintenance. I was also the desktop PC administrator assuming all of the support, building/rebuilding and deployment duties thereof.

I worked in IT as a student at the University of Oregon - Library Systems Department where my many system administration duties included the development, management and deployment of Symantec Ghost Images for employee, classroom, computer lab and terminal PCs and their corresponding support. I also migrated the primary UO Library print server from Windows 2000 to 2003 Server, and developed a VBScript program to automate the migration of installed printers from the old to new server.

I worked in IT as a Programmer/IS Specialist for Eugene Print after studying Computer Programming and Computer Network Operations at Lane Community College. I began work there as a programming intern, and later signed on full time, developing several interactive, data-driven MS ASP/VBscript websites and corresponding MSSQL Server databases. As the company foundered in the poor local economy at the time, I became the sole full time and primary IT employee for the rest of my time there.
