• Assist in the selection of an ERP system as applicable• Obtain a working knowledge of the system being implemented (general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed assets)• Work with each of the finance areas to identify and document business requirements, identify gaps in business requirements vs standard functionality and ongoing unresolved issues.• Configure setup and test functionality supporting the relevant lifecycle. 1. Responsible for the accounting (journal entries and reconciliation), analysis and trending of various key accounts related to Payroll, Health & Welfare, Risk Management and Incentives. This includes reporting and analyzing actual results to forecast and annual budget, as well as, the generation of the annual operating plan and monthly forecasts.2. Responsible for working with a Business Partner Leader and their direct reports on their corporate department cost centers. This includes working with the Business Partner Leader on the generation of the department forecast and plan, as well reviewing actuals to make sure the monthly results are accurately stated. This position should also support the Business Partner Leader in analysis of the department spend and preparation of presentations required to review the results of this department. 3. Lead projects that drive process improvements and efficiencies supporting the Hussmann strategic initiatives and Finance Organization as assigned. This includes reviewing current processes, developing new and improved processes, testing the new processes and documenting and training others on these new improved processes.4. Assist with system implementations to incorporate the new system efficiently into our current processes as assigned.5. Responsible for assisting with the training and development of others in the corporate accounting group (individually, as well as, leading group trainings).
