Brian has nearly 30 years of professional surveying and technology experience and is an Associate, leading the Civil Technologies Group, at RICK. This group includes GIS and Reality Capture's 3D Laser Scanning specialties. Brian is a passionate leader in RICK's Transformation through Technology Bold Step of the RICK75 strategic plan. He also oversees CAD management responsibilities for the organization. He has worked through several positions in the company ranging from engineering CADD operator, Land Survey Analyst, GPS Survey Coordinator, Photogrammetry Coordinator, GIS Manager and Manager of 3D Laser Scanning. This broad background enables Brian to consider and understand all aspects of a project from conception to final deliverables and to streamline interdepartmental communication, resulting in a cohesive and imaginative on-time product.He is an expert at data collection, processing, display and publishing using a wide array of integrated technology tools.Brian is an active speaker including the AGC National Convention, AGC IT-Forum, SPAR Conference and Hexagon.Brian's current focus is leading teams providing 3D Laser Scanning and GIS services. "We are focused at integrating the results with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and GIS to 'better visualize the built environment' for efficient planning, design, construction and post construction activities."Brian is active with the San Diego Chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) currently on the Technology Trends in Construction Committee(past chair) and on the Construction Leadership Council (CLC).
