About Bruno Poisson

I learnt early in my career that what intrinsically motivated me was to grow and develop businesses internationally.I am currently the CEO of CAE data and ID Cables, 2 French companies leading in providing Connectivity Solutions for different type of environments: Industrial, Building and Live. In aggregate the group generates circa 130m€ and is under LBO (Leverage Buy-Out) with ARGOS WITYU a major European Private Equity Fund, a leader in the space of Mid-Cap and ESG strategies.My previous assignment was to lead and grow the business of ETC Group in EMEA (now Netceed). I actively took part to the sale of ETC from CARLYLE to CINVEN, which hapenned to be the largest Large-Cap LBO in France in 2022 (deals value of 2B€+).Before this, I led a series of growth assignments from 2006 onwards, growing businesses both organically and by M&A - not only acquiring companies but more improtantly by successfully integrating acquired companies. The decision of embarking on an executive MBA in 2005 was one of the most important decisions I ever took. The learning experience was unique and profoundly changed the paradigm I was seeing business life through. I keep nurturing myself by reading and always have a business book at hand. This helps me further develop my skills with the purpose to be effective in growing and managing businesses as a CEO.I am a firm believer that jointly creating value with a Private Equity Fund helps companies grow and develop at a much higher pace (vs peers that are not under LBO). This is why I do appreciate embarking on projects under LBO as they foster waves of investment that generate a lot of value for all stakeholders: shareholders, employees as well as the wider community through the impulse of ESG initiatives.
