Project Architect / Project Manager: Serving as Design Team leader on several important projects for the firm since joining in Spring of 2009. Working closely with firm principals, I provide leadership in design, documentation, client meetings and presentations, regulatory approvals and coordination between architectural staff and complete team of consulting engineers for complex projects with demanding schedules and design requirements. Daily duties include project management, supervision of architectural staff, coordination with consultants and communicating with clients. In the past four and a half years I performed a major role in the successful completion of several projects with a combined value of more than $23 million; the largest single project during this period was valued at $17 million in 2013.

Principal: Promoted to this position in 2003 based on seven years of exceptional service and performance with the firm. As one of four Principals of Indovina Associates Architects, LLC, my focus was on project development, documentation, and construction administration including supervision of a highly-productive and resourceful staff of architects, interns, and draftsmen. Providing clients with high value, excellent quality architectural services was a top priority. I provided professional services from the earliest stages of projects through completion, always working closely with clients throughout the process. I worked to establish strategic partnerships, having brought several projects with a combined value of nearly $33 million to the firm in a five year period. After advancing to Principal, I performed a major role in the successful development of over $46 million of built projects; the largest single project valued at $14 million in 2007.

Project Architect: Worked under the direct supervision of firm principals. Personally performed professional services at a high level in all phases of project development utilizing a variety of fast-paced project delivery methods. Gained project management experience in a wide array of project types and sizes ranging from single-family residential and university term-services contracts to large scale zoological exhibits and large multi-family residential projects. Personally worked with and developed relationships with many clients ranging from private individuals and developers to university facilities managers and leaders of institutional organizations. During this time period, performed a major role in the successful development of over $60 million of built projects, the largest single project was valued at $18 million in 2001.

Project Architect: Position involved in all phases of projects in an award-winning firm specializing in high-end, single-family residential design on Figure Eight Island, a coastal resort island near Wilmington, NC. Provided professional services for design development, construction documents, and construction administration for multiple simultaneous projects. Homes typically ranged between 4,000-6,000 square feet with construction costs in the range of $200-$250 per square foot.

Participated in and completed all NCARB Intern Development Program requirements for eligibility for the Architect Registration Examination under the direct supervision of three Registered Architects. Also was personally responsible for the research, selection, and installation of over $30k of new hardware and software assets including a new office local area network. Responsibilities also included maintenance, troubleshooting, and upgrading of computer systems as well as training of office staff.
