Managed several non-transgenic targets for introgression to elite wheat varieties. Supervision and management of multiple Research Associates from planting to sampling, DNA extraction to genotyping, crossing to harvest. Collaborated with Business Development, Product Development, Field Operation, and Lab Operation groups.Determination of targets and design of CRISPR guide RNAs to targets using web-based tools. Design of molecular vectors for both Agrobacterium and gene gun plant transformation methods.

Managed and supervised multiple Research Associates in the Analytical Sciences and Regulatory Services (ASRS) department. Served as the point of contact for internally requested analytical services (e.g. targeted LCMS, GC-MS, GC-FID) and provided regulatory support for world-wide submissions (e.g. Southerns, detection methods, sequencing T-DNA inserts). Reported to the Regulatory Director and invited to add to and edit several regulatory submissions.

Promoted from Research Associate I to IV as skills and knowledge grew. Focus on Molecular Biology designing and building vectors at the bench with plenty of trips to the field and greenhouse. Hands on experience with canola, tomato, rice, wheat, and cotton.
