Previously, I served as a Senior Dietitian at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where I counseled patients undergoing every type of gastrointestinal surgery, including bariatric surgery. In addition to counseling both inpatient and outpatient populations, I developed and led various nutrition education classes for patients and their families on topics including ostomy management, spinal cord injury nutrition, chronic disease prevention and health management. In the private practice setting, I have counseled patients on everything from weight loss, sports performance, cardiovascular disease and diabetes, to prenatal nutrition, food allergies/intolerances and cancer prevention.
