Maintains the core system, its databases, and back-up integrity. Helps to ensure database integrity, stability, and availability. Prepares custom reports as requested by department heads and as necessary on a recurring basis. Analyzes complex data systems and documents data elements, data flow, relationships and dependencies. Creates automated and reusable routines for extracting requested information from database systems. Coordinates repairs of data processing equipment, and establishes preventative maintenance schedules. Manages IT projects to help progress the services that UECU offers its membership. Supports all 3rd party software integrations to the core Credit Union system. Maintains hard copy records, back-ups, and system logs in accordance with security requirements. Oversees security requirements; executes systems audits and ensures log maintenance. Coordinates and executes tasks to be performed on the core computer system. Executes computer programs and routines as prescribed by procedure. Helps identify data processing errors and problems; assists in resolutions. Documents data processing activities and problems, according to established procedure. Assist with HelpDesk duties and with resolving problems; especially those related to member transactions or any financial services. Maintains database for MCIF, Data Warehouse and other data mining utilities. Responds to IT problems or needs on a 24 hour 7 day per week basis (on-call). Manages IT Specialist and is responsible for passing along and training. Performs all other related duties as assigned.
