Together, my wife and I purchased The Lakeside Resort in 1991 to make our life and raise our kids in the beautiful South Okanagan. I became a very early "TeleCommuter"​. With my Panasonic fax machine , I continued to trade lumber for Olympic Industries while we ran the resort full-time. 3 yrs Later we hired a Maintenance Superintendent to replace me, and Sal assumed general management. I returned to full time to my lumber career in 1994/5.
