The projects allowed for a thorough exposure to the work of a process engineer. The projects required collaboration with many different departments within the plant (maintenance, logistics, I&E). Main project was development of HDPE pellet blending opportunities. Tasks include designing the process, analysis of potential earnings, and calculating the total cost of project. Estimated project cost is $900k. Arranged meetings with many vendors to purchase equipment necessary for completing the projects.
