Senior team member in the Specials Project and Support group with responsibility for application design as well as engineering system and software solutions; providing support for IT projects and tier 3 support for IT infrastructure.Role and Project Highlights:▪ Technical expert on Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) and Meter Data Management (MDM) solution selection and contract development committees. Tasked to convert from a manual meter read process to a two-way integrated network of smart meters with systems to manage meters and store the data.▪ System engineer; responsible for design, implementation, and support of virtualization infrastructure. The first major redesign of server hardware infrastructure in over a decade, advancing system fault tolerance, recoverability, and high availability, while providing flexibility for new resource deployment. ▪ Software engineer; responsible for developing portal, backend and interface solutions to support functional additions and address gaps in existing systems to meet business objectives. CRM integration, OMS and GIS integration, Capital Credits portal, bill generation and presentment, POS integration, and numerous process digitization efforts.▪ Server systems and database administrator; supporting IT infrastructure design, deployment and support.
