We worked tirelessly to drive innovation and create new products to improve electricians lives and elevate the Voltex brand.The role involved managing many simultaneous projects working with customers, Key Stakeholders, Business Developers, Industrial Designers, Engineers, Manufacturers, and our Procurement team to take products from concept to cash-in-hand.To achieve this I was involved in market research, project viability studies, business case studies, project planning and resource allocationI was responsible for- supporting and driving innovative projects- bringing the first ever 10x90mm slim downlight to the Australian market; this LED downlight is only as thick as the plasterboard ceiling material and is IC-4/IC-F rated so it can be mounted directly under a timber truss saving our customers many headaches and hours of work patching and moving the downlight.- importing various ranges from Europe, China, Vietnam, India, and Malaysia- analysing and rectifying quality issues- training and mentoring Graduate Engineers- customer and technical support
