    The Senior Gunner Course is a 10 day (80 hour) course designed to create Unstabilized Gunnery subject matter experts. Fundamental skills on the M2 .50 Caliber, MK-19 40mm, M240B 7.62, and M249 5.56 are trained and tested during the Gunnery Skills Test (IAW FM 3-20.21). Soldiers learn the fundamentals of Range Operations, Range Requirements, Scenario Development and learn to assist commanders in building a Unit Training Plan.
