Under my leadership and management, we reduced annual operating expenses by approximately $850K, refocused engineering and business development efforts to penetrate a potential $2.5B per year market, and corrected environmental deficiencies at the company’s Dallas, TX operating facility.

Served as Vice President of Bailey-Jamar, LLC, a small renewable energy business development company focused on the incubation and implementation of innovative energy and environmental technologies and projects. The technical and project management lead bringing emerging technologies together with engineering, financial, marketing and management resources to develop and execute successful renewable energy and environmental projects.

Assumed responsibility and managed the company's tire receiving and processing facility during a difficult period following a major site fire and loss of operating permit due to numerous environmental permit violations. Restored the facility to permit compliance and resumed operations within six months.

Provided program management support to HQ Air Force Space Command and various Space Command installations, primarily in environmental restoration, but also including environmental compliance, pollution prevention and natural and cultural resources management. Managed various environmental infrastructure projects for Peterson AFB and Buckley AFB. Conducted numerous compliance audits and assessments for specific environmental media programs at both bases.

[This description includes years worked for Radian International, DOW environmental, Dames & Moore Group and URS Corporation during a period of consolidation.]Worked for HQ Air Force Space Command and Pacific Air Forces in support of the environmental management programs. Provided program management support primarily for the environmental restoration program tasked with cleaning and monitoring more than 2,300 individual Installation Restoration Program (IRP) "sites" and "areas of concern" from preliminary assessment through remedial action and closeout.Conducted more than 25 compliance self-audits at various Air Force installations around the world.

Worked as program coordinator for the arms control treaty advanced verification technology program and later transitioned to the project coordinator for environmental restoration studies projects in support of USATHAMA. In 1991 moved to HQ Air Force Space Command to provide program management support to the environmental management office of the civil engineering directorate.

Served as a line platoon commander, executive officer, deputy operations officer and acting company commander with 3d LAR from 1985 - 1988.
