During my four years at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, I gained valuable knowledge and skills that laid a strong foundation for my dental career. The program provided me with comprehensive education in various aspects of dentistry, including oral health assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and hands-on clinical experience.After completing my studies at the university, I decided to further enhance my skills by enrolling in the Bellevue Hospital Center General Practice Residency (GPR) program. This experience proved to be transformative for my professional growth. Over the course of one year, I had the opportunity to work alongside experienced dentists, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.The Bellevue Hospital GPR program not only exposed me to diverse patient cases but also challenged me to expand my clinical and diagnostic abilities. Through this program, I learned advanced techniques in restorative dentistry, endodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, and prosthodontics. The exposure to complex cases and the diverse patient population at Bellevue Hospital allowed me to develop critical thinking skills and gain a deeper understanding of managing complex dental conditions.Following the completion of my first year at Bellevue Hospital GPR program, I was selected as the chief resident for an additional year. This prestigious position enabled me to take on greater responsibilities, including overseeing the clinic operations, supervising junior residents, and collaborating closely with attending dentists and specialists. As the chief resident, I developed strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills, effectively coordinating patient care and ensuring a high standard of treatment.Throughout my time at both the Bellevue Hospital GPR program and the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine, I have consistently strived for excellence and continuous improvement. These experiences have shaped and refined my clinical abilities, allowing me to become a much more productive and knowledgable dentist.I am grateful for the opportunities I have had to learn and grow, and I look forward to utilizing my knowledge and skills to provide exceptional dental care to my patients in private practice.
